Product Care

Upshecle products are mainly made of recycled materials and/or fabrics, so it is quite delicate yet will last longer if you take care of them properly.

1. Wash by hand with mild soap

RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) is the second life of plastic waste, so it needs gentler care. You don’t need to use a machine or heavy soap as these materials will get easily clean using only mild soap or bar soap. It also applies to our other fabrics, such as recycled woven. Gently reminder, do not wash it too often.

2. Brushing the fabric is not recommended

Just use your hand gently and slowly rub the soap and water on the dirty surface.

3. Iron on low temperature

RPET or recycled woven fabrics will start to look frizzy after several months to one year of usage. You just have to iron the fabrics at medium-low temperatures will help them to look like new! Make sure your fabric is dry before you start to iron it.

Tips: Cover the fabrics with cotton cloth before ironing.

4. Avoid direct sunlight

Chemical fading is a type of fading caused by sunlight on fabrics. A chemical reaction occurs when the sun’s UV rays react with the fabric, resulting in the fabric breaking down.

5. Don’t soak the fabric

Use a good amount of water to clean the dirty parts.
